Having lived in Amsterdam and Amstelveen for most of her life, Karina brings a nuanced understanding of the various neighborhoods as well as invaluable local recommendations for everything from schools to yoga studios. Born and raised in a small village up north, Karina moved to Amsterdam for university. While studying law, she ended up selling her home to a real estate agent and discovering her true passion. The pair began working together while Karina pursued an education in real estate, earning top honors. She finished her studies to be a certified agent and valuator before opening two offices of her own. Looking to expand her international business to accommodate the multicultural Amsterdam market, Karina partnered with The Agency, drawn to the company's collaborative culture, creative marketing, boutique, concierge client services and vast global reach. Though she never considers herself off duty and sees business as a pleasure, she enjoys spending any spare time she has with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling, particularly to Mallorca and Paris, and working out no more than she absolutely must to stay healthy, though she does love Rocycle.
