However, a fascination with science and genetics inspired her to earn her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Her detour into real estate was a result of her lifelong love of architecture and people, and after working for the firm Mossler, Deasy & Doe, she made the transition to real estate as an agent with Alvarez, Hyland and Young, a small firm specializing in Beverly Hills real estate.
