Having witnessed the growth and evolution of Anchorage and its surrounding areas firsthand, she offers valuable insight into what makes this region so special-vibrant, welcoming, and full of opportunity.
Bethany's real estate journey began during her college years while attending Alaska Pacific University, when she joined her mother as an Administrative Assistant, learning the business from the ground up. That early foundation sparked a lifelong passion for the industry and since 2014 she proudly leads the Mehner Weiser Group - one of Alaska's top-producing residential sales teams for over 30 years. With three decades in the industry, Bethany has built a reputation for professionalism, honesty and results. As a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) Guild Elite member, she is recognized for her expertise in the luxury home market and her ability to represent distinctive properties with strategic marketing and refined service.
Beyond real estate, Bethany is committed to serving her community. She is a member of Rotary International where she enjoys volunteering her time for community projects and scholarship programs. Bethany has dedicated countless hours to philanthropic leadership serving on multiple fundraising committees for local non-profits such as the Alaska Jewish History Museum and the Anchorage Museum. During her tenure serving on the Pacific Northern Academy's Gala Committee, she was instrumental in raising over $1,150,000 in support of private independent education in Anchorage.
In recent years, Bethany has expanded her leadership on a national level through her involvement with the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. She has served in leadership roles since 2018, including Alaska RRC Membership Chair, Alaska RRC President in 2021 and 2022, and nationally as a Regional Vice President for Region 8 in 2024 and 2025, representing Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. In this role, she collaborated with state leadership teams and served as a liaison between the state and national boards. In 2026 Bethany was appointed to the RRC national Credentialing Committee, further demonstrating her dedication to professional standards and industry advancement. In recognition of her dedication to the industry, Bethany was named Alaska CRS of the Year in 2024.
When she's not working with clients, Bethany enjoys taking advantage of everything Alaska has to offer. In the summer, you'll often find her fishing with her husband on the Kenai River enjoying cabin life on the Kenai Peninsula, attending outdoor concerts, golfing, hiking, and exploring Anchorage's vibrant food scene - always up for trying a new local favorite. When winter rolls in, it's ski season and cozy downtime at the family cabin in Girdwood is always a favorite past time, especially with her two grown daughters. Bethany & her husband, Martin also enjoy traveling, Hawaii, Spain, Italy, Belize, Costa Rica are some of their favorite adventures.
