Burke Smith is the EVP of Affiliated Businesses at The Agency and a member of the brokerage's executive leadership team. Burke is responsible for expanding and overseeing all of the global core services initiatives of the company, including mortgage, title, escrow and insurance. As a former owner and operator of large real estate brokerages and home services companies, Burke joined The Agency in 2022, bringing two decades of real estate leadership and ancillary service experience with him. Additionally, Burke is a licensed real estate broker responsible for closing over $1Billion in residential real estate. Prior to joining The Agency, Burke gained national recognition across the industry after launching his "one stop shop" home services model which attracted attention from CNN and the NY times as well as earning him back-to-back Inman Innovator of the Year nominations. Along with owning and operating both franchise and independent brokerages, mortgage and insurance companies, Burke has consulted and coached hundreds of real estate companies and thousands of real estate agents across the US and Canada. He has also been a mentor to the NAR Reach Program and numerous prop-tech companies. Burke is proud of his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Polinsky Children's Center of San Diego. Mr. Smith resides in San Diego with his wife and three children.
